Lump and powder
Two forms of the same charcoal, made in Kora's own workshops by pyrolysis.
Lump
Shell charcoal made by pyrolysis in kilns and retorts. Grades A and B. Packed in jumbo bags, about 13 MT per 20-foot container.
Powder
Milled from the same charcoal, mesh to order. Packed in lined jumbo bags or 25 kg sacks, with a COA per lot. Kora states that buyers use the powder as feedstock for activated carbon.
Choose by your process
Your kiln or activation line decides the size you need. Send the size range and we tell you what is possible before any quote.
Settle these before you order
- Which form your kiln or activation line takes, lump or powder.
- The size range or mesh your process accepts.
- Grade A, grade B or a trial of both. Kora publishes no difference between them, so ask sales.
- The bag size your handling suits: lump goes in jumbo bags, powder also in 25 kg sacks.
